When you love someone, what’s there to prove? Everything! It looks like life is teaching Rohit a lesson. His publishing deals, his relationships, even his job – nothing seems to be working out. To make matters worse, Karan is still trying his best to ruin him as a writer. But when Nisha leaves him, it’s the ultimate blow. To win her back Rohit must prove he loves her enough to do things that matter to her: like helping Tara find a publisher. As Rohit takes control of his life, he begins to find things slowly changing for the better for him too. But will Nisha be happy with that? Will she come back to him? Just for You is an adorable, bittersweet story about love and its responsibilities.
‘Just For You’ by Rahul Saini is a romantic thriller that revolves around three best-selling authors- Karun, Rohit and Jeet. Rohit and Jeet had beautiful girlfriends- Nisha and Neeti respectively. Rohit joins as a faculty in the college where he used to work before on request of his ex-student Praneev. On the other hand, Jeet and Neeti enjoyed each other’s company. Their lives were flowing smoothly and blissfully until Karun promises himself to destroy the lives of Jeet and Rohit as they were his strong competitors. Rohit gets engaged into a sex-chat with a random girl on Facebook Saima just to take a break and same happens with Jeet. Nisha starts suspecting Megha the day she dances with Rohit and develops a possessive attitude towards Rohit. Their love story starts fading away due to several reasons and finally Nisha decides to part away and leaves Rohit at his state forever. On the other hand, Jeet breaks up with Neeti when he is enlightened about Karun and Neeti working together on the same project and he doubts her loyalty towards her. Rohit and Jeet’s careers start declining after their break ups. Who is this girl Saima? Is Karun behind all the havoc of their lives or is there something that is yet not revealed? The language of the book is lucid with perfect informal narration. Every chapter starts with a quote written by one of the main characters from the book. The cover was eye catching but the title does not go well with the story. The plot was humorous, emotional and full of thrill and suspense. There were very few editing errors in the book which could be neglected as the story is interesting. The presentation style of highly commendable. The story keeps one hooked up from the start to the end. I finished the book in a single sitting. Overall, it was a chilling and gripping book with lots of suspense and romance. I would recommend this book to all those who love to read love stories.
