“We are all killers, Professor. Some people kill their own dreams, their children’s future, someone’s love, parents’ expectations, their wife’s happiness, other people’s opportunities, and simple smiles. They take away everything and then say ‘Sorry’ in return.”

Maher was found unconscious in the middle of the highway and later, in the hospital, she revealed that she had escaped from a killer’s house. All the details and patterns matched the serial killer ‘Kansa,’ who had disappeared five years ago after murdering forty pregnant women. ACP Saargi Desai was assigned to the case. She appealed to her department to bring back Professor Black to help her catch the killer. The Professor, who had a haunting past that had kept him away from the world of crime and investigation for several years, was not willing to take on this case. But the ACP managed to convince him to get on board just for this one last time. Soon after agreeing to help, the Professor realized that for the first time in his life, he had met his match. As he dug deeper into the case, everything got dirtier, the stakes went higher, and nothing was what it seemed.

Kansa is an erotic crime thriller with fully loaded suspense. Kansa features the main character of the story ‘Professor Black.’ The story starts on a note of suspense where a couple, Neil and Radhika endure a bitter accident on their way to Corbett. The chapter that follows, describes the characteristics of Saargi Desai, who was an ACP. Since she was one of the best officers of her department she was allotted the case of a serial killer ‘Kansa’ who has killed forty pregnant women in his past life. She seeks the help of Professor Black. With the pieces of evidence given by one of the victims of Kansa, Meher, both of them initiate their search to find Kansa. In the midst of their search, they suspect a guy named Arjun, who was criticized for having illegitimate relations with his own sister Nitika. They also get a hint of Mira who was Arjun’s mother and was rumored to have an affair outside her marriage. They even get hold of a few recordings by Nitika after her death that further complicates the entire case for them. They continue their inquiry until one day they successfully reach Arjun, who was their major suspect. Is Arjun the real Kansa or is there someone else behind all these serial killings? What is the major motive of the killer behind all these murders? From the start to the end, the book was a complete page-turner. With simple language and gripping narration, the story grabs the reader attention throughout. The title was simple and apt. The cover of the book could have been better as I felt that the cover did not match the theme well. As this book is a crime thriller the cover could have been designed accordingly. There were very few grammatical errors in the book which can be ignored as the story is very interesting. The plot was very engaging and suspenseful. The major twist that takes place at the end was totally unexpected and left my mouth wide open with surprise. The book is very addictive. Once you start reading the book it’s difficult to leave it until you finish it. Even after finishing it the reader would desire more of it. The characterization was extremely perfect. Overall, it was an addictive thrilling read. I would highly recommend this book to all those who have an awe for crime thrillers.

Author Interview: Prachi Garg

In the field of Literature, there are many Indian authors who are soaring high towards success. I’m glad to say that I’ve got the opportunity to interview one such exceptional author Miss Prachi Garg, the author of ‘Super Coupleswho has already made a huge imprint on every reader’s soul with his literary masterpiece.

Interview Session With Prachi Garg

Question: Tell us about yourself.

Answer: I am a true blue Mirandian, who loves travelling and writing. During my MBA from Great Lakes Institute of Management, I started, it was that time, I faced few challenges, and this actually made me to interact with few of these inspiring ladies, which I penned down in superwomen. At ghoomophiro, we organize solo women travel and corporate team events. The USP of organization is that we do not have fixed packages. Instead, we curate each and every trip based on our client requirements and interest areas. I also go out for workshops on entrepreneurship and take up lectures on the same with various e-cells.

Question: What brought you in this writing world?

Answer: I have always enjoyed writing since my childhood. You can blame it on my genes- my father is an editor of pharma journals. I have been penning down my experiences in multiple ways and writing a book was on my bucket-list, though was not sure, if it would be a fiction or non-fiction.

Question: What after writing?

Answer: Haven’t thought about it since writing is something I enjoy thoroughly.

Question: Tell us about your work?

Answer: Currently, I have two books under my name. Superwomen; Superwomen is a collection of journeys of 20 women entrepreneurs who made big in their lives at an early age. It encompasses their journeys, challenges and their unique way to overcome them. I have been fortunate enough to interact these women entrepreneurs and learn something from them. Another USP of the book is the variety genre of the business these women are into. On one hand, book has stories of Richa Singh from your dost, Medhavi Gandhi from happy hands from social fields, whereas Richa Kar from Zivame and Anisha Singh from Mydala; both from e-teller market has been featured. Each story is unique in its own. I strongly feel, every woman who aspire to do big in her life should read the book. Superwomen is available on leading bookstores across India. And can be ordered online from Amazon. For the convenient of readers, its kindle version is also available.

Supercouples: Running a successful business with your soul mate has always been idyllic and intriguing for me. I always used to wonder how the couples keep a pace between their personal and professional lives, especially when they are together all the time and can determine their mutual career destinies instead of spending many hours apart working for someone else,” said Garg. “This inspired me to speak to these wonderful couples across India, who planned to be “partners in crime” in everything and wanted to build a meaningful life together by co-creating something that brings joy and fulfillment. However, this interaction through their journeys brought some key takeaways for successful partnership, that I thought to write down here.”

Question: According to you what is the real meaning of literature?

Answer: Anything that can inspire, and bring change to society. I think keeping this in mind, I authored superwomen. I am a firm believer that “pen is mightier than sword”.. And hence, role of literature is very crucial in society to bring in change.

Question: Names of authors you follow. And why?

Answer: I enjoy reading Paulo Coelho, Abdul Kalam and Sudha Murthy, as they connect to common people well and inspires them to achieve.

Question: Self-publishing or traditional publishing, which one has a better scope?

Answer: I think, what matters is your work. How well you have articulated your thoughts infront of your readers. If your reader can connect with you and find your work useful and interesting, they would surely recommend you. It is immaterial for readers, if you self- published it, or went via traditional publishing route. Though traditional publishing has its own advantages in terms of distribution and marketing as you get a platform to showcase your work with experts.

Question: Anything about your upcoming work?

Answer: Supersiblings is my upcoming work. It consists of stories of siblings who rose above the typical sibling rivalries and are successful cofounders in startup ecosystem. Stories of startups like aspiring minds, sugarsisters, Go-dimensions have been discussed in the book.

Question: What is the most enjoyable part of being a published author?

Answer: Contentment. When I held my first print of Superwomen, it was like holding a baby- tears of joy came out. The pride with which my colleagues and friends talk about my book really satisfies me. Believe it or not, feeling remains same, whenever you hold first print of your book.

Question: How can our readers connect with you?

  1. It is always great to connect with your readers. They can drop me a note on
  2. Twitter: @prachimadri
  3. Facebook: authorprachigarg
  4. Instagram: prachi1905

“The feeling that he willingly brought about his own destruction can’t be summarized in any emotion. He understood what he was about to perform could affect his life radically but he didn’t have any choice, did he?”

Prisoned In Love by Vaiibhav Nigam is a romantic thriller that has been dedicated to the author’s parents, whom he considers as God. Sometimes love and life takes us to a journey where people around us start suspecting us. This book gives a lifelong message that everything that we see is not always true. Even a criminal has a huge motive behind his acts. Most of the criminals conduct those illegal activities to survive while a very few do it due to other personal reasons. One should always have faith in the person he or she loves.

Rayirth kapoor, nine years ago made his American Dream come true when he got admission to pursue MBA program from New York University. In the coming seven years he found magnificent job and a wife to die for but never even in his deadliest dreams he assumed that his life will give him a summersault. Now he is suffering from insomnia, since the past two years he never slept. Doctors say it’s a rare kind of disease but Rayirth knew the actual reason of his complete sleeplessness. Whenever lights betrayed and night falls a small girl wearing white frock covered in entire night. He knew the reason of his illness is breathing in State penitentiary and he needed to rendezvous him inside the deadliest prison of America. Prisoned in love, is a love story of Rayirth Kapoor who is searching for answers in the adverse scenario in the process of making his life back to normal.

Prisoned In Love is a romantic thriller that features Rayirth Kapoor who was a very ambitious person and wanted to pursue MBA from his dream University, i.e. New York University. The story starts on a note of suspense where the reader gets the highlights of the dreams that Rayirth perceive every night that makes him sleepless. Rayirth’s past and present lives are reflected simultaneously. The story keeps on opening a new suspense chapter by chapter and increases the curiosity of the reader to get the answers to all the suspenseful events. On one hand the reader gets to know about the criminal life of Rayirth and on the other hand, the reader enjoys the smooth love story of Rayirth and Shreya. That simply means this book has a perfect balance of suspense and romance. Rayirth Kapoor lands into the prison due to jewelry shop robbery and kidnapping. On the other hand, he falls in love with the manager of his office, Shreya, who was already in a relationship with Siddharth. Will Shreya and Rayirth ever be together? Why has Ray willingly conducted the criminal act and has surrendered for the same? To know the answers to all the questions one must read this book. The language of the book was lucid and informal. There were lots of editing and grammatical errors in the book that destroy the beauty of the content. There were errors even in the blurb. The title is very captivating but the cover is dull and does not befit the title or the theme of the book. The story was however very intriguing and addictive. It started on a note of suspense and even ended with suspense. This book has multiple messages for its readers. The narrative style was above average. As a debut author, I think the author has done a great job. The only reason that destroys the presentation of the book is its editing errors. Overall, it was an addictive read filled with suspense. I, therefore, recommend this book to all those who love to read romantic thrillers.

  1. Divine
  2. Transformation Of A Lover Into Writer
  3. In Search Of Happiness
  4. Nitya The Warrior
  5. The Last Hope

The language of the book was lucid and informal. While reading the book one could actually connect with the characters of each and every story. The book was full of quotes and daily lessons that one can grasp while reading the book. Out of all the stories, my favorite one was Divine as it taught me how happiness enters your dull life in the form of a human being. The stories were not extraordinary but as a debut book, the authors have done a great job. The title of the book reflects positiveness and joy that gives the reader a reason to buy the book. Also, the cover of the book is very simple and attractive showing a little girl crossing a bridge reflecting how she is seeking for happiness. The blurb was too lengthy and could have been better if it would have been a little short in length. The stories ended with a piece of poetry that highlights the theme of the book. The presentation was above average. I liked the way the stories ended and started with a note of suspense. The major aim of the book is to spread optimism and the book has served its purpose well. Overall, it was a light and soothing read. I recommend this book to all those who want to take a break from the dullness of their lives and explore a different world of happiness.

As Rohit takes control of his life, he begins to find things slowly changing for the better for him too. But will Nisha be happy with that? Will she come back to him? Just for You is an adorable, bittersweet story about love and its responsibilities.

‘Just For You’ by Rahul Saini is a romantic thriller that revolves around three best-selling authors- Karun, Rohit and Jeet. Rohit and Jeet had beautiful girlfriends- Nisha and Neeti respectively. Rohit joins as a faculty in the college where he used to work before on request of his ex-student Praneev. On the other hand, Jeet and Neeti enjoyed each other’s company. Their lives were flowing smoothly and blissfully until Karun promises himself to destroy the lives of Jeet and Rohit as they were his strong competitors. On the other hand, Jeet breaks up with Neeti when he is enlightened about Karun and Neeti working together on the same project and he doubts her loyalty towards her. Rohit and Jeet’s careers start declining after their break ups. Who is this girl Saima? Is Karun behind all the havoc of their lives or is there something that is yet not revealed? The language of the book is lucid with perfect informal narration. Every chapter starts with a quote written by one of the main characters from the book. The cover was eye catching but the title does not go well with the story. The plot was humorous, emotional and full of thrill and suspense. There were very few editing errors in the book which could be neglected as the story is interesting. The presentation style of highly commendable. The story keeps one hooked up from the start to the end. I finished the book in a single sitting. Overall, it was a chilling and gripping book with lots of suspense and romance. I would recommend this book to all those who love to read love stories.
